Alta Badia is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Italian Alps. It is located in the heart of the Dolomites and consists of five areas, the most famous being Corvara, which is considered the centre of the whole area. In winter, there is 130 km of pistes of all difficulties, which will satisfy every fan of skiing or snowboarding. However, this is far from all that Alta Badia has to offer.

Due to its location, Alta Badia is part of the famous Sella Ronda, which provides excellent access to the neighbouring areas of Val di Fassa, Arabba / Marmolada and Val Gardena. In total, it is possible to use more than 1,000 km of pistes within the Dolomiti Superski.

In the summer months, skiers are replaced by fans of alpine cycling and hiking. Due to its location, Alta Badia is an ideal starting point, as it offers hundreds of km of marked trails. Proof of this can be the Marathon des Dolomites race, which has recently become one of the most important amateur cycling races in Europe. Naturally, there are good conditions for other sports such as tennis, paragliding, fishing, horseback riding and much more. Two nature parks around the Alta Badia area are inviting as well.
