Thanks to the new connection with the Fieberbrunn resort, the Skicircus has become the largest ski area in Austria. The resort, suitable for families and demanding athletes, now offers 270 km of ski slopes.

The river Saalbach valley creates the centre of the area with two villages, which lie on the river. It is the eponymous village of Saalbach and higher located Hinterglemm.
