The Dachstein and Taur region are one of the most famous mountain resorts in Austria. More than 100 km of well-maintained ski slopes and almost 50 cable cars and lifts ensure a beautiful skiing experience. The area is part of the Ski Amadé ski complex.

The area consists of nine ski resorts (Schladming Planai - Hochwurzen, Hauser Kaibling, Reiteralm Bergbahnen, Stoderzinken, Galsterberg, Ramsau, Dachstein Glacier, Planeralm and Riesneralm).

The Dachstein region is a popular destination for cross-country skiing. It offers many well-kept routes that will meet the requirements of a wide range of cross-country skiing fans. Of course, there is also an offer of other sports activities, especially in the summer. There are many hiking and cycling trails, golf courses, horse riding and much more.
