Val di Fassa
The Val di Fassa area offers a unique combination of natural beauty and culture. Due to its location in the heart of the Dolomites, it is described as one of the most sought-after areas in the Italian Alps. The Val di Fassa is formed by the valleys of Gardena, Badia, Fassa and Livinallongo. The centre of the area is the Canazei city, which offers all the services that make the visitor's stay as pleasant as possible.
The area is part of the Dolomiti Superski and has a direct link to the famous Sella Ronda. This can be a great advantage of this area. It also guarantees stable turnout throughout the season.
There is 90 km of cross-country skiing trails in the area. We must not forget the free-riders, who will certainly appreciate the excellent conditions for freeriding, especially from the slope Sass Pordoi.
In the summer, the situation is not significantly different. Fans of winter sports will be replaced by lovers of alpine cycling and hiking. Hundreds of km of marked routes will welcome them. For relaxation, Wellness in Pozza di Fassa or Canazei will certainly be the right choice.
This area is unique for its local traditions. The original inhabitants call themselves the Ladin community. They speak their own Dolomite language and have their own culture. This makes Val di Fassa one of the most interesting alpine areas.
